ABOUT THE PROJECT
AgriSkills for Inclusion was an interactive adult-learning mobility focused on social inclusion, sustainability and practical green-skill development. Organised through close cooperation between CEMEA Martinique and Learning Alliance, the programme brought participants to Austria for hands-on learning and intercultural exchange.
Through agricultural activities, workshops, excursions and visits to local social initiatives, participants explored sustainable living, community building, communication and everyday independence.
what we explored
- Sustainable agriculture, harvesting and plant care
- Traditional preservation and culinary uses of herbs and vegetables
- Intercultural exchange between Martinique and Austria
- Non-violent communication, teamwork and conflict management
- Digital tools and public-presentation skills
- Inclusive social-enterprise models through local initiatives
LEARNING IN ACTION
Participants developed their skills through practical activities, teamwork and everyday challenges across Vienna. The programme turned unfamiliar situations into opportunities to communicate, cooperate, take responsibility and build confidence through direct experience.
Participants developed practical green skills at the Welttellerfeld through harvesting, plant care and working with herbs and vegetables. Workshops, cultural mapping, excursions and visits to initiatives such as the Vollpension Generationencafé connected environmental learning with communication, social inclusion and sustainable community enterprise.

SKILLS, CONFIDENCE AND CONNECTION
AgriSkills for Inclusion strengthened participants’ confidence, communication and practical environmental awareness while showing how experiential learning can support social inclusion. The mobility also deepened cooperation between CEMEA Martinique and Learning Alliance and created a foundation for future European learning activities.
